This picture, taken by my good friend Vivi Sa Polucci, is of a bridge I built for crossing a brook at the edge of my parent’s vacation property in Maine. I was so impressed with the scene that it inspired me to cut this just for my family collection. I came up with a whole new edge concept -- making it all overlapping maple leaves. This is a the rare puzzle where the edge can easily be the last pieces that are put in place. I also designed a whole new cutting style, in which I hope the knobs are evocative of leaves. And I sprinkled maple leaf figure pieces throughout the puzzle.
I can apply this same edge concept to any fall scene; if you would like to commission a puzzle like this, we can find almost any fall print that would work.
